Hi,

I am working in a firm in Ottawa. It's my dream to own a home. For years, I have saved money for my dream home. But, the amount is not enough to buy a home. So, I am planning to take a mortgage.

But, now I am pretty confused whether to take a home mortgage or a construction mortgage. If I prefer the first, there would not be any risk of construction and related troubles. But, if it is the second, I could construct the home according to my plans.

So, both are helpful for me. But, I want to choose the one which is less risky. So, I searched a lot on the internet to find the best solution and came across some brokers offering home mortgages as well as construction mortgages in Canada ( http://www.mortgagesmortgages.ca ).

Before taking a decision, I want to hear from the experienced ones. Which do you think to be the better one? Kindly let me know your ideas and suggestions at the earliest. Thanks in advance!
