Re: Newbie to stocks

I'm curious to see other's takes on sites and services like Motley Fool. What are other services that offer their stock buying opinions? Are they worth it? Are they a scam? Anyone have any experiences to share? Motley Fool says their stock picks earn a certain percent more than standard 500 index's. I can't remember the exact % they claim, but it was high. My thinking is, if they are telling the truth, it would certainly be worth $100/yr. Thoughts?

Side note: I really love you guys and this sub. I've just started getting into the world of equity and I'm all in, like obsessed. And my wife is ABSOLUTELY tired of hearing about it. So y'all have replaced my wife. Thanks.

Hi Everyone,

Great to meet you all. I am rather new to the trading world and I just got started using Robinhood. I had some questions and would value the opinion of the community here.

What is your opinion of Robinhood as apposed to something like etrade or scotttrade?

Should I be investing under an LLC or as an individual?

San Francisco, CA
