I wanted to know if I should be worried about a Biotech stock that has been touted with expected big gains this year, while the CEO sold 1.8 million worth of stock over the last 3 months and it is making my head scratchier.. He owns 27 million now.

t?

Were it stock options?
Were it his own shared bought from the open market?
Also if the stock spiked a lot, then it might be a hint that he feels that the price will fall and not get to that point.
But it might also be him buying a fat house or something.

In general selling is not good, but not also bad bad.

Look at AM insider selling for one, he sold millions of shared while they have a high dividend , will they cut?

There seems to be an inverse relationship between market movement and stupidity in forum messages.

There is the moral of all human tales;
'Tis but the same rehearsal of the past.
First Freedom and then Glory—when that fails,
Wealth, vice, corruption—barbarism at last.
And History, with all her volumes vast,
Hath but one page
