AB the option positions, and also watch them trade for a while. Don't trust anyone but yourself. Do the DD. It is either going to be a "Value" stock that you accumulate on dips, (go slow in smaller lots when it dips), and or it's going to be a Pump and Dump with little or no value. Try finviz scanner.

Re: Bad timing or bad luck?

These are my opinions.  Please do your own DD  :) Happy Trading

Bad timing or bad luck?
I've recently traded a few stocks, looking for the breakouts only to find that as soon as I am in the trade, the prices drop and hit my stop loss. It doesn't seem to make any difference whether I am day trading or swing trading.
Is there a great way to find high probability stocks?
Any advice is appreciated.
