House votes to cut securities fees

Overwhelmingly passes measure by 404-22 margin

WASHINGTON, June 14 Lawmakers in the U.S. House of Representatives Thursday voted to cut fees paid to the Securities and Exchange Commission on corporate registrations, transactions and mergers by an estimated $14 billion over the next 10 years.
