Years ago when I lived in the Bronx yellow cabs didn't go to that part of NYC ...out of fear. So if you needed a ride you took your chances with a livery cab, really just a guy in his own car driving around offering rides for cash trying to make the rent.
This week a glorified livery service called Uber is going public. Uber shares are expected to trade at a 91b valuation proving two things
1. There is nothing new under the sun.
2. A sucker is born every minute.
